I thought I would do okay, though, on things like fun purchases, baby purchases, and eating out. That was the main thing I wanted to avoid anyway (eating out), so I guess I'm still okay there.
Last weekend a local maternity store called Pickles & Ice Cream had a tent sale. I thought about going, but decided against it b/c I didn't really NEED anything.
Well crap...I got an email last night from them saying the tent sale had been extended through this week and everything was an additional 30% off. The fact that it was extended made me think that they might still have a lot of stuff. So I went.
Wouldn't you know, that this OiOi bag was staring me in face as I walked through the door. Yes, the same bag I've put on and off my registry (trying to decide if I want to just take the plunge and go Kate Spade) a billion times now. It was on sale for $69.99 which is what it is online now too, but I'd have to pay shipping online and this one was RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! What is a shopaholic who is trying to be green and thrifty to do? UGH!
Did I mention that it was an additional 30% off of that price? Without saying much else, I will just announce that it is sitting next to me at the moment enjoying it's new home...as well as these jeans I tried on. So comfortable and they were under $20 w/ the sale. Couldn't resist!

Love the bag but really love the way those jeans look...what brand are they?
ReplyDeleteThanks! :) They are the store brand (well, it says "made especially for")- Pickles & Ice Cream. Here is the link to them online - you may be able to order them from there if you don't have a store near you. They are cheap and soooo soft! But beware, they run SMALLLLLL. I took a Medium in b/c there were no smalls and while they "fit", the Large was WAY more comfortable - and I am normally a size 2-6 and have been buying XS and S in Old Navy and Gap pants.
