I am 20 weeks today. It's Easter, which to us is just really another Sunday (and we were happy Lowe's was open!) but it's kind of interesting since the original roots of Easter are Pagan roots and have to do with fertility. A nice milestone for a day like today I suppose. ;)
To celebrate we decided we'd work on the nursery and get it painted. We had all the furniture in the middle of the room, but still needed to clear out some random stuff. Here are a couple pictures of us getting ready to paint. We painted a
Valspar color (
Hopsack), but had it custom mixed in Olympic paint which is
VOC free and all that good stuff, so I could help out and we don't have to worry about lots of toxic stuff going on in there. I will post pictures of it once it's all dried and touched up well, probably tomorrow or Tuesday.

And here are my 20 week belly pictures. You can also see my new highlights a little. I got my hair colored and cut yesterday for the first time in 18 weeks. I ovulated when I was last there which is so funny that I remember it. It was the first time I've ever felt ovulation (likely because I just simply don't ovulate much and certainly not without the help of drugs or
TCM in the past few years). It's a little 'less blond' than I had pictured, but I really like it and can build up to a bit more blond as we go. I don't want to go all over blond like in our wedding pictures.

Ooh - halfway! Congrats!
