A Dream About Lucas

Dear Lucas,

I had my first dream about YOU last night. In the past I've had dreams about our baby and what it would be like (even while pregnant so far) and until we found out you were a Lucas I had baby girl dreams. But not last night. Last night I had the best dream anyone could ever ask for.

It was about YOU and you were just a few days old and all snugly in the adorable little clothes you have been receiving. You were breastfeeding and that was going really, really well, which is something that is very important to us. But most importantly, you were so amazing to hold and I can't even describe the love I felt for you in that dream and that I do already when I feel you moving around in my belly.

I told your Daddy that in two more weeks you have a milestone coming up (24 weeks) in that if, God forbid, anything were to go wrong, you might have a good chance of still being with us then. Maybe that is why I dreamed about you being with us last night? Either way, it was wonderful, but we'd like you to keep cooking until the right timer goes off! Please let me just continue to dream about you until August!
