Getting Closer

This is just something that is really starting to bug me the more I talk with pregnant women... Do women not realize that a due date is just an estimate??? Yes, even if you know exactly when you conceived unlike many women, that does not mean once you hit 40 weeks you are cooked! In addition to that, it's so annoying to hear women 38-40 weeks complaining about not having the baby yet. Don't get me wrong, I get that you're probably uncomfortable and ready to meet your baby, but you're not even DUE yet! What do you expect?? Sure, some women go early, but just because you're not having your baby early doesn't mean you need to start freaking out about going into labor asap. Hell, even at 40 weeks, you're not technically overdue anyway. 38-42 weeks is the norm and really we should be assigned "due months", not "due dates".
