Burp Cloths

Talk about good timing! I finally got around to buying some Gerber cloth diapers (ie: burp cloths) over the past week and I run across this post from a blogger buddy of mine.

She used this free tutorial to make some so instead of Googling around like I had planned I checked it out. It seemed easy enough it was exactly what I have been planning on doing!

My only problem is I have a 6 pack (and they are unbleached so the cream color doesn't look great w/ some of the fabric I planned to use) of the organic diapers that the tutorial calls for. At Target I bought a 12 pack of plain white ones, but they are not quite the same. They are bigger and all one piece instead of having the quilt-y layers in the center which is where you put the fabric. So I don't think I can really use any of those 12 big white ones (and they are so thin!) for any of this which is kind of annoying b/c that's what I bought them for. I'm sure they'll still come in handy for burp cloths though and other spills.

I didn't want to use all of my 6 pack though so I only made 3 for now and am going to try to get more white ones in the right size/kind. I don't remember seeing them at Target (I bought these 6 at BRU yesterday and that's super far away and I don't plan on going back there) though which sucks.

Update! Well, I came up with something to do with the thin, big, white ones!

Here are some of them so far :)
