So I took my little self to Etsy.com and sent out a request to see if someone could make either set for me. I got many offers from anywhere between $185-300. I decided to go with a seamstress who had done this a lot and does this for boutiques locally (local to her) as well. She is extremely nice and is really affordable! For $185 I am getting the crib skirt, bumper, sheet, comforter, and throw pillow. She has a great linen/cotton fabric to use for the darker parts of the bedding (which is linen in the original set) and then can copy everything exactly. She does NOT monogram so I will need to just take it somewhere locally to do that, which should be no big deal at all. I wasn't planning to use a bumper, but the more I think about it, between the ceiling fan we plan to install (to decrease the risk of SIDS) and the fact that Lucas won't even BE in the crib all that much in the very beginning (which is when the risk is highest) I am not all that worried about it anymore. I talked w/ my mom and other local moms at length about this issue and feel comfortable using it - and if I change my mind I can always save it for later. I wasn't going to do the pillow, but figured what the heck. It will probably not only be cute, but useful for my back, on the chair.
So here are a few pictures of what we have going on for our nursery.
The bedding that will be made.

Our walls (this bedding was just looking for me, right!? Even the walls they show look exactly the same as what we chose).
It's finally all coming together just as I have pictured in my mind for months! I am extremely excited. :)

It is going to look wonderful!!
