I finished all my little birds! Well, I think I am going to use 7 for the mobile, but I am not 100% sure. It depends on what they look like once I start hanging them. If I need to make more, I have PLENTY of fabric!
When I finished those I needed more to sew, so I started on my second batch of cloth wipes. This time I used dark brown thread and I like the contrasting stitching MUCH better! I also played around with some different stitches my sewing machine can do and found those two new ones that I totally love. I think the middle is my favorite. Very preppy!
And I finished the pumpkin hat for Lucas. I got bamboo green yarn to do the leaf which took all of 5 minutes. So happy to have that hat done for real now. I love it and hope it fits him well around October.
And here is me at 27 weeks. I can't believe I start my 3rd trimester today. I know I say this all the time, but the time is going by so fast and if Lucas comes early, I really don't have much time left at all! It's crazy to think about NOT being pregnant anymore and having our own baby instead. Up until more recently I always just assumed he'd be late, since many first babies are, so I was thinking September in my head, even though he's due August 30th. However, now I am wondering if he comes even a couple weeks early and is still full term (I believe that's at 37 weeks) that is only 10 weeks or so from now and will be early August! I just want him to come whenever he is good and ready - 38 weeks or 42 weeks, doesn't matter to me!
