Blogger Not Working + Pregnant Chick =

One annoyed woman!

Ugh! I knew I should have done this yesterday like I normally do, but I was just too lazy yesterday to upload my 7w5d "belly" picture.

I just put it on my computer and compared it next to my 6w5d one. Holy crap!!! I didn't realize there would be such a difference. At this point the baby is so small and behind my pelvis so I know it's not from baby, but either way my stomach is definitely looking very different. And my weight keeps going up and down by 2 lbs so it's not like I've really gained any weight yet so it's all just a redistribution of things. Pretty crazy!

Anyway, I have been feeling fairly good the past few days, just very tired. I never really understood what people say when they said "don't scratch your belly", but now I do. It itches and it's very strange! It is also amazing how much I can feel. I know so many people say you can't feel anything this early, but I can tell things are changing rapidly in there. I have quite a bit of random 'stretching' and almost has a tightness on the inside and even outside a little.

I got my husband a pregnancy book by the "Week by Week" people that is for fathers and I'm not so sure that was a good idea. He's got it all covered and has now told me to not use safflower oil or rosemary in cooking anymore because they were on the list of herbs to avoid! Oy! But really, I think it's so great that he's involved and actually cares.

I started knitting our baby's first blanket. I'm using baby alpaca yarn which is so yummy! I would post pictures, but well, that's not going too well tonight so whenever Blogger decides to begin working again I'll get all my pics up!

  1. OH how exciting! Could you please tell me more about your acupunture and herbal medicines? My husband and I just found out that our insurance doesnt cover all these medicines and yet it gives 50% discounts at many acupunturists...I would love to hear more details why you decided acupuntur, where you went, and how you felt about it all...
