A Day of Shopping

Today was the first day I shopped in my 2nd trimester. I'm not going to lie...before my mom picked me up for our shopping day I use my Doppler again. All is well - both the baby peach and I still have heartbeats. :)

I've bought a few things here and there up until this point, but nothing major...now I feel like I am in a place where I can totally start buying things and it's actually good to buy a little bit at a time. I know we'll get things at our showers, but there are just some local things that I can't pass up, especially for a great price and well, I found that today!

Yes, Baby Uggs. I couldn't resist. Being an Ugg lover myself, I totally wanted to buy them for our baby, but at $50 a pair had no intention on doing so. But a local store in Franklin had them for 50% off which I could handle and I got the last pair in this style and size. I totally love them and, like all the things I bought today, they work for a boy or girl. :)

Then we went to another children's shop that I had never been to before. Oh my gosh , they have a TON of stuff, but most importantly they had racks of clothing that was 75% off! Heart, be still!

Everything I bought was originally $40-50 each, so I ended up spending like $45 all together for all of these things which I thought was a total steal.

This first one is white w/ little cream X's on it and a 3 piece knit outfit.

This is probably my favorite. It's cream and it's knit, but it's SOOOO incredibly soft and light. It will be absolutely perfect for late summer/early fall here.
Being a sweater girl myself, i couldn't pass up the $10 chocolate brown cable baby sweater...it even came w/ a matching hanger, which, yes, did excite me a bit.
And lastly is this cute white cotton one piece. Simple and classic. :)

The days of shopping for myself are long gone it appears and you know what? I wouldn't trade it for the world!!! (Plus, baby stuff is way cheaper! haha)
