Full Term - Getting Ready to Go!

Feeling better emotionally since Friday's blog entry, but physically I am wiped out!!!

Yesterday I was out with my parents most of the day and went to acupuncture. It was so nice and relaxing and I kept falling asleep, but waking myself up every few minutes with a funny snore/odd breathing type deal. haha Felt so good though! We did a lot yesterday (just getting in and out of the car when it's so hot and humid like it is in TN right now is a lot!) so I was pretty tired.

Today I am 37 weeks which means I am officially FULL TERM!!!! I can't believe I made it here and I feel like I can take a deep breath now and not worry about things like pre term labor, etc. Though I would like him to cook for at least another 2 weeks or so since even though he is full term right now and wouldn't likely need NICU time, etc. he is still developing, his brain is growing, etc.

We had our car seat inspected at the police station today and the police officer said my husband did a great job and it was all set! I was worried since everyone says they are so hard to install and install right, but he just followed the directions in the manual and I guess that I worked! He passed his first parenting test I guess. :)

We also went to Target and I got a few more things for my hospital bag; a simple black nightgown since I don't want to wear hospital gowns, another nursing tank top, and they had a really soft and light weight bathrobe on sale for $9.00 so I got that as well. I have a few at home, but they're all pretty heavy so now I can bring this one and if I want to can just hang out in a nursing bra in my bed and use the bathrobe for getting up and moving around, etc.

We also went to the grocery store and I started stocking up on snacks and drinks to bring for labor. I bought these organic fruit and veggie "juice boxes" that looked yummy and good for energy and vitamins, Annie's organic fruit snacks so suck on, almond granola bars, and soy crisp chips. I think that's a good start!

Now I just need to organize everything and start packing bags! It's crazy to imagine that Lucas could be here literally within days or it could be 5 more weeks! That's a huge span and the anticipation of having no idea is pretty strange!
