Attachment Parenting International's 15th Anniversary Weekend Celebration!

One of my blog readers tipped me off to this just this morning. I had no idea this was going on and how lucky am I that it's in my hometown! (And oddly enough, where I attended school for some time! haha)

Only downside? It's August 29th (the part I want to attend). I will be 39 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Yes, that's right, the day before my due date!

I bought tickets anyway. It's highly unlikely that Lucas will actually come that weekend so I figured I'd take a chance and it'd be worth it to be out the $20 I paid and then I can say I have a baby that came right on time. The perfect scenario would be going to this on the 29th and going into labor that night or the next day, but we shall see what happens, right!? And if he comes super early (early enough that it's not a few days before and we cannot go out or are still in the hospital) I may just wear him in if they will allow me!

So why do I want to go? You might have noticed that I have a serious love for Dr. Sears and that entire family. Guess who is going to be there on the panel for the "Think Tank" and at the reception/meet and great (which we get to attend!) after? Dr. William Sears and Martha! That is seriously just too cool. There are a bunch of other attachment parenting type professionals attending as well. I'm so thankful I get this (hopefully - please cooperate baby Lucas!) opportunity!

Here's the day I bought tickets for (well, the Think Tank event and Reception, we'll probably skip everything else as I'm guessing I won't feel the greatest, whether Lucas is here or not!)
