Ironic & Silly

I know this is beyond silly, but I do sometimes believe in signs. I started knitting this bear a few weeks ago, but didn't make much progress thanks to the many other projects on the needles (bad knitter, bad!) and picked it up again Christmas Eve. I finished him last night except for the feet which I just did. I planned to gift him to the one of many people I know who just recently had babies....but seeing the news I just got and the timing of him being made, I just cannot give him away. I am keeping him here. :) I can always change his scarf if "he" needs to be a "she" eventually, but I feel better knowing he's here with me.
